Who am I?

Who am I?

I am a daughter of the Almighty King. First and foremost.

That is the most important fact that defines me.  It is what shapes my world; gives me a future; redeems my past; remakes this cracked jar of clay into something He can use. I am His.

Simple enough.  But, aah!, what I do, like, am passionate about, that’s not so simple.  I am a native of New Jersey and still live here withcropped-laughing-dog-june05.jpg (positive comments only, gentle readers – it really is still The Garden State if you look around.)  I read voraciously; knit incessantly; love cooking for my friends, family, you name it; paint and create art (when I’m not knitting, which isn’t often right now).  I am a 60-something Oak Ridge Boys fanatic, and I will travel for music! (I just spent 13 days on the road, over 2000 miles, just to hear 3 concerts!)  I spend time researching and trying to document my families’ histories, and, nowadays, I blog.

But why am I blogging?  I definitely am not a diarist – no Boswell will be publishing volumes of my diaries for future generations.  However, there are some things I want to document, some ideas I want to share, some lives I want to touch.

So, “If you like pina coladas” – No, wait!  That’s wrong.  I mean, if you like food, or knitting, crafts, books, or family; if you are passionate about God, faith, life, then I know we can have a conversation. Join me.

I am glad we share something in common other than Blogging 101 :): the love of God.
Have a great day. Will catch up with your blog.
