The Liebster Award and Blogging 101

We are not created to stand alone.  God knew that, and after creating man, He created a companion to fill that need.  Even in the blogging universe, we have that same need.  But how can we meet that need whyen we live hundreds or even thousands of miles apart physically?  One way is that we meet on each other’s blogs’ we meet in courses such as Blogging 101, we comment and share.

There is yet one more way, and that is through awards.  Maybe they are cyper-chain letters, maybe they are an annoyance to some, but maybe they are just another way to connect, to interact, to get to know each other, since we can’t all meet at Dunkin Donuts for a cup of coffee (although that would be awesome, I think it would cause the nice family that owns the one across the street to have a nervous breakdown if we did!)

I have had the honor of being nominated for The Liebster Award by Camellia at camelliasentry. Thank you, Camellia and your blog is very stylish and enjoyable.

So here are the questions Camellia asked, and my answers, followed by my nominations, the rules for the mission should you choose to accept it, and then my questions. Good luck.  This tape will not self destruct to 10 seconds.

What inspired you to begin your blog?

2 friends- one a military wife who had to leave The Book of Faces, and another who started blogging her artwork and said I should as well

If you can have dinner with one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

Jesus, because I would just want to say ‘Thank you.’

If you can have one superhuman ability, what would it be?

To fly like Superman!

If you could travel back in time, what year would you go to?

About 1812-1813, so I could meet Jane Austen

Are you a cat or dog person? Or neither :O ?

Who, me?

If you can change one aspect about yourself, what would it be?

To learn to keep my foot out of my mouth

If you were president/king for the day, what law would you pass first? :O

As president, I would pass a law that all elected officials would serve one, single 6-year term, and then they would have to go back to work in the private sector, and pay for their own healthcare insurance and pensions.  Period.

What is your favorite food dish?

Peach Pie.  Home made.  By me.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Only a work in progress, I strive to surrender all things daily to God

Are you team android or team ios?

Huh?

Favorite film?

Any Cary Grant film!  Or Bogart and Bacall. Or come to think of it, any of the Marvel Avenger films.
